My name is Chris Riggins. I am the principal at Lamesa Middle School. I have been serving Lamesa ISD and it's community for the past 9 years. Lamesa is a great place to work and raise a family. This family attitude is a part of the Middle school culture that helps us achieve that goal of excellence.

I have earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. I hold my career here at Lamesa ISD to be the greatest learning experience of all.

My passion is for God, family, and people. I feel that it is my destiny to change lives. I bring this with me to work every day. If I can not affect a teacher's, a child's or a parent's life in a positive way it has not been a productive day. I have been put in this position to make that difference every day.

If I had to pick a mantra for which I use to make it through the day I would use  "All things work together for the good, for those that seek him."
