My name is Kurt Pierce and I am the assistant principal at Lamesa High School. I have been the boy's athletic coordinator for many years. I have taught history and physical education. I am a 1981 graduate of Texas Tech University.
         My wife Kristy teaches kindergarten at South Elementary. We have 2 children: Kyle, who along with his wife Jade live in Belton, Tx where he is a youth pastor. Our daughter Katy is a student at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
        I consider it an honor and privilege to work with the young people of Lamesa. I have and will continue to work hard to help lead them to success. My goal is to continue to have a safe environment that allows the teachers to teach, and the students freedom to learn.
