For All Students entering Kindergarten in August. Bring birth certificate, shot record and Social Security Card.

SUMMER READING FUN FOR STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED K-2
June 10-June 21 (Mondays through Thursdays), 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at South.
*NOTE TIME CORRECTION*
Breakfast and lunch are being served at the Middle School and a bus will take students from Middle School to South and then take them from South to Middle School for lunch.
(That is the only bus route running this summer).

TOR SOFTBALL'S SEASON ENDS, BUT NOT BEFORE MAKING HISTORY!
No other team in the history of Lamesa Softball has gone four rounds deep into the playoffs. The Tor season ended when Hawley defeated them in a three-game series.
PROUD OF OUR TORNADO SOFTBALL PLAYERS AND COACHES! GREAT SEASON!!
David Vasquez, current interim principal, will remain at LHS.
Mr. Vasquez said, "I have fallen in love with Lamesa and it didn't take me long. I am most impressed with the dedication of the faculty. I am proud and honored to be at Lamesa High School."
Dr. Brian Yearwood Hired as Asst. Superintendent of Academics and Personnel
Dr. Yearwood has experience at all levels of a school system. He has brought low-performing schools like Iles Elementary and Dunbar College Prep Academy in Lubbock to Recognized and Exemplary status. He says, "I am a firm believer that there is genius in every child. We will work on a child's potential every day --- Every Day."
21st Century Grant Before and After School Program ENDS May 17.
Doors at EACH CAMPUS will open at 7:30 a.m. beginning May 20. (Doors will NO LONGER be open at 7 a.m.).
The S.EA! Program for Middle and High students WILL continue as scheduled.
